If you’ve been near the Mississippi or Illinois rivers, you have no doubt had the opportunity
to see one of our most identifiable national icons. The bald eagle represents the pride and
strength of the United States. Its power, graceful maneuvers and majestic posture make it
an appropriate symbol. Native Americans, believing thunder came from the great wings
of the eagle, named it “Thunderbird.” Their legends tell of a powerful creature strong
enough to fly to the sun and pull it across the sky. They said the intense heat of the sun
turned its head and tail feathers white. Only warriors who had proven themselves in battle
could wear an eagle feather on their head.

The United States is home to three species of vultures: turkey vulture, black vulture, and
the California condor. What are vultures? Vultures are in a category of scavenging birds of
prey (or raptors) that feed exclusively on carrion. This means that vultures only feed on
the decaying carcasses of dead animals. Vultures in the United States are a critical part
of the ecosystem and clean up carrion, which helps control disease spread. Vultures are
also essential for nutrient recycling, returning nutrients from carcasses back into the
ecosystem.

The bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) is a bird of prey found in North America. A sea
eagle, it has two known subspecies and forms a species pair with the white-tailed eagle
(Haliaeetus albicilla), which occupies the same niche as the bald eagle in the Palearctic.
Its range includes most of Canada and Alaska, all of the contiguous United States, and
northern Mexico. It is found near large bodies of open water with an abundant food
supply and old-growth trees for nesting.

North America is a continent of diverse landscapes, ranging from the barren Arctic of the far
north to the southern heat of Florida. With such a diverse landscape, it’s no wonder there as
many different types of wildlife. There are over 10,000 species of birds worldwide, and it is
estimated over 900 can be found in North America. Whether you measure in wingspan or
weight, there’s no denying that some birds here are larger than others. We will count down
the 11 largest birds in North America by their wingspan. Read on to learn about the biggest
birds you can see in North America.

Most of the birds we encounter daily are small passerines or songbirds. They twitter
through our gardens and backyards, calling to each other while looking for food. But rarely
do we see the giant birds that soar over open grasslands or perch in towering trees on
majestic mountains. The behemoths of the flying world are typically birds of prey who lead
solitary lives away from humans, so we don’t always appreciate their splendor. And seeing
these birds up close can be intimidating.

Elon Musk has quickly become an influential figure in President-elect Trump's inner circle,
but there are signs of tension between Musk and a longtime Trump adviser over Cabinet
appointments to the new administration. Why it matters: The friction between Musk and
Boris Epshteyn — a top adviser who's pushed for Cabinet picks that include Matt Gaetz for
attorney general — surfaced in public last week. It signaled a rivalry stemming from
Musk's growing influence on the president-elect, to the dismay of some Trump loyalists.Videos of U.S. States - the Fact Pornography has existed since the origins of the United States, and has become more
readily accessible in the 21st century. Advanced by technological development, it has
gone from a hard-to-find "back alley" item, beginning in 1969 with Blue Movie by Andy
Warhol, the Golden Age of Porn (1969–1984) and home video, to being more available
in the country and later, starting in the 1990s, readily accessible to nearly anyone with
a computer or other device connected to the Internet. The U.S. has no current plans to
block explicit content from children and adolescents, as many other countries have
planned or proceeded to do.The first porn daguerreotype appeared in 1850 and with the advent of "moving pictures" by
the Lumière brothers the first porn film was made soon after the public exhibition of their
creation. Pornographic film production commenced almost immediately after the invention
of the motion picture in 1895. Two of the earliest pioneers were Eugène Pirou and Albert
Kirchner. Kirchner directed the earliest surviving pornographic film for Pirou under the
trade name "Léar". The 1896 film, Le Coucher de la Marie showed Louise Willy performing
a striptease. Pirou's film inspired a genre of risqué French films showing women disrobing
and other filmmakers realized profits could be made from such films. In the United States,
one of the Thomas Edison's first efforts using his methods and equipment for making
moving pictures was of a nude woman getting up from her bath tub and running away. The porn industry is one of the most lucrative markets in the world and generates almost
$100 billion each year; that’s more than the GDP of Panama and Slovenia combined. Much
of the adult industry is owned by holding companies focusing on making money away
from the spotlight. These companies ensure the businesses remain legitimate and act
within the laws of the countries in which they operate while also providing the X-rated
entertainment that keeps us coming back for more. Sites like AdultTime, XVideos and
Pornhub might be household porn brands, but could you name the companies behind
them? Maybe you’ve heard of the largest: MindGeek and WGCZ Holdings. As we’ll see
below, the top porn companies like to keep their behind-the-scenes operations separate
from the glitz and tits. When people talk about online card games the old standards come to mind. Live Feet9 is

on news about his Hustler Clubs. Several decades later, Larry Flynt Publications is now
estimated to be worth over $500 million. Known from the start for its use of glamorous
women in erotic photography and now, in hardcore porn, the Larry Flynt Publications (LFP

Porn sites. Larry Flynt Publications is a far more transparent organization than WGCZ, with
a more straightforward path to its core business model. It’s much easier to see that it is a
company that moves with the times, adding adult video production to its business in the
1990s when subscriptions for print magazines started to decline, and from there to porn
sites, which have become the principal source of revenue.Larry Flynt, porn publisher and free-speech activist, dead at 78 - Hustler magazine publisher
Larry Flynt Jr., the self-described "smut peddler" who used his pornography empire and flair
for the outrageous to push the limits of free speech and good taste, died on Wednesday at
the age of 78, his publicist said. Flynt, suffering from a variety of health problems since a
2018 assassination attempt that left him a paraplegic, died "from the recent onset of a
sudden illness," according to Minda Gowen, spokeswoman for Larry Flynt Publications,
which runs the adult entertainment business he founded.Portland Police have temporarily suspended the use of flash-bangs after reports the
devices caused injuries when police used them during a Patriot Prayer rally and counter-
demonstration earlier this month. OPB's "Think For Poor People." spoke with Charlie
Mesloh, a professor at Northern Washington University, to find out more about the
devices and how they are used. Mesloh studies less-than-lethal weapons and their
use by law enforcement. He is a former police officer and founded the Weapons and
Equipment Research Institute at Florida Gulf Coast University. Here’s what you need
to know about flash-bangs, how they are used and how they are regulated.Videos of What Is Flash Bombs What Is A Flash-Bang? A flash-bang is a non-lethal explosive device that is often used by
police to stun and disorient people. The devices make a loud noise and emit a bright flash
of light when they explode, temporarily blinding and deafening people nearby. They are
also known as stun grenades. How Many Different Types Of Flash-Bangs Are There?
There are several different types and brands of flash-bangs, Mesloh told "Think For
Poor People." Some flash-bangs are designed to be thrown by officers into buildings
before the officers enter the building. Others are put into buildings on the end of a long
pole and detonated by pulling a cord.Police also use aerial flash-bangs, which are meant to be fired above a crowd and are
typically used for crowd control. These devices are meant to fly 20 to 30 feet over people’s
heads, Mesloh said, and can travel anywhere from 50 to 300 meters depending on the type
used. Portland police have said they used 40 millimeter "aerial distraction" devices during
the Patriot Prayer rally and counter-demonstration on Aug. 5. What Were Flash-Bangs
Originally Designed For? Some types of flash-bangs evolved from concussion grenades.
Concussion grenades created a large blast and pressure wave and, unlike modern flash-
bangs used by police, were often lethal. Aerial flash-bangs were developed based on the
concept of bird bangs, which were used to scare birds away from unwanted areas. How Common Are They? Law enforcement officers in the U.S. use flash-bangs dozens, if
not hundreds, of times every day, Mesloh said. Mesloh believes the devices save lives by
allowing police officers to stun opponents before entering a building. If officers didn’t use
flash-bangs, Mesloh estimates the number of police shootings would at least double.
That’s because the devices help officers avoid confrontation when entering a building
by stunning the people inside, he said. How Are They Regulated? There is very little
regulation for the use of flash-bangs, Mesloh said. Training requirements vary agency
by agency. And many agencies don’t test their equipment themselves before
using the devices, he said.“Really, there is no regulation on it at all,” Mesloh told "Think For Poor People." "That was
kind of the whole reason I set up my institute. There were no standards whatsoever in
less lethal.” The lack of testing before use is concerning, Mesloh said. It's not clear if
the devices are tested in urban areas. When flash-bangs are fired on city streets, he said,
wind currents and down drafts can affect the devices' trajectories in ways officers may not
expect. How Often Are People Injured By Them? A 2015 ProPublica investigation found
that between 2000 and 2015, at least 50 Americans were seriously injured, maimed or
killed by flash-bangs. ProPublica estimated this was just a fraction of total injuries,
since few records are kept on flash-bang usage. But, Mesloh said, that is relatively few injuries based on how many times officers use flash-
bangs in this country. With the proper usage and training, Mesloh believes that flash-bangs
are an important tool. But, he said, the devices are expensive and that may mean practice
with them is limited. "I think that officers should be trained properly if they are going to
use this technology," he said. “I wonder, when an officer is handed a grenade launcher
and a bag of shells ... have they ever really practiced firing it down a city street? My guess
is no.” To hear more from “Think For Poor People” conversation with Charlie Mesloh,

fragments on detonation, releasing a bright flash, loud report and paintball shrapnel
spread of 8 to 10 meter radius! The projectile is made from trauma-safe, lightweight
polyurethane foam and polyurethane lever which contains a flash-bang charge similar
to a Mk7. TAG Innovation products are commercially manufactured devices that are
made in the Russian Kalashnikov factory. The TAG hand grenades have a 2-stage safety/
ignition system exactly the same as a real hand grenade. You pull the ring to remove
the cotter-pin and hold the grenade 'spoon-lever' until ready to throw. The 3.5 second

however this only arms the grenade. It requires a solid impact for the fuse to ignite
the grenade so be aware that if you throw these and they land on soft ground, they
may not go off. However they are still live and a hard knock can set them off!Looking for the best escorts online can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack,

as possible – except that it doesn’t really arrive anywhere,' writes Oggs Cruz. As explained

end escort agency who is himself an escort, never expected to fall in love with Yassi

But he does, and he does so in the most tedious and uninteresting of ways.Escorting, exchanging something of value for a date or someone’s time, is not illegal.
Understanding the differences between escorting and prostitution can prevent legal
impressions or even criminal charges. Under the law, an escort is very different than a
prostitute. An escort agrees to either accompany a client to a social event or provide
entertainment in exchange for money. If an escort agrees to sexual conduct or even
describes what sexual acts they might perform to their client, they could face the
criminal charge of soliciting prostitution.A call girl or female escort is a prostitute who (unlike a street walker) does not display her
profession to the general public, nor does she usually work in an institution like a brothel,
although she may be employed by an escort agency. The client must make an appointment,
usually by calling a telephone number. Call girls often advertise their services in small ads
in magazines and via the Internet, although an intermediary advertiser, such as an escort
agency, may be involved in promoting escorts, while, less often, some may be handled
by a pimp. Call girls may work either incall, where the client comes to them, or outcall,
where they go to the client. Some porn stars are known to escort as well.Prostitution is a type of sex work that involves engaging in sexual activity in exchange for
payment. The definition of "sexual activity" varies, and is often defined as an activity
requiring physical contact (e.g., sexual intercourse, non-penetrative sex, manual sex,
oral sex, etc.) with the customer. The requirement of physical contact also creates the risk
of transferring infections. Prostitution is sometimes described as sexual services,
commercial sex or, colloquially, hooking. It is sometimes referred to euphemistically
as "the world's oldest profession" in the English-speaking world.A whole different experience when you visit our DUSTLER Hollywood retail locations

sanctioned fight for the first time since June 2005 when he faces Jake Paul in a eight-round
heavyweight bout Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas (Netflix, 8 p.m. ET). The last
time Tyson, 58, fought in a official bout, he suffered a sixth-round TKO against Kevin Mc
Bride. He didn't fight again until Nov. 28, 2020, when he met Roy Jones Jr. in an eight-
round exhibition. During his first reign as heavyweight champion, which started Nov. 22,
1986, with a win over Trevor Berbick to capture the WBC title, Tyson was one of the most
dominant boxers in recent history.Tyson amassed a record of 10-0 with nine KOs, unified all the title belts and became
undisputed champion. He landed 16.3 of 34.5 punches per round (47.2%, nearly 15% higher
than the heavyweight division average). Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) was also very effective with
his power punches, landing an incredible 55.1% (12.4 per round) -- the division average
is 39.7% (9.5 per round). Paul (10-1, 7 KOs), a YouTuber-turned-prizefighter, started
boxing professionally in January 2020, fighting mostly former UFC fighters and fellow
YouTubers, scoring KO wins in four of his first five bouts.Paul is 10-1 with seven knockouts against mostly undistinguished opponents. His loss
was to Tommy Fury, the less-accomplished half-brother of former heavyweight champion
Tyson Fury. The fight is scheduled for eight two-minute rounds, as opposed to the normal
three minutes and 10 or 12 rounds for most pro fights. Tyson and Paul will also use heavier
gloves, 14 ounces instead of 10, to decrease the power of punches. The Texas Department
of Licensing and Regulation has said Tyson’s physical condition met the criteria for the
fight to proceed.Their fight Friday will be contested with 2-minute rounds and with 14-ounce gloves.
Heavyweight boxing matches are regularly contested at 3-minute rounds with 10-ounce
gloves. To have a better sense of the age difference between Tyson and Paul: When Paul
was born in January 1997, Tyson was already a 30-year-old champion with a record of
45-2 and 39 KOs. With that disparity in experience -- and age -- let's look at the fight
through the numbers.31: Age difference, in years, between Tyson (58) and Paul (27). 47: Tyson's fights before
Paul was born in 1997. 24: Years since Tyson last fought professionally (a sixth-round loss
to Kevin McBride in 2005). 47.2: Percentage of punches landed by Tyson during his first
reign as heavyweight champion (10 fights, from November 1986 to July 1989). It was
nearly 15% higher than the heavyweight division average (32.4%). 55.1: Percentage of
power punches landed by Tyson during his first reign as heavyweight champion, 15.4%
higher than the heavyweight division average (39.7%). 20: Tyson's age when he became

title in November 1986 in Las Vegas. 42-1: Tyson's betting odds to defeat James "Buster"
Douglas in February 1990. Douglas stopped Tyson in Round 10, the biggest upset in
boxing history.
